We’re all pretty chuffed wiith our latest book/project for Media Sandbox, as are the client. Their Project Manager, Victoria Tillotson said, “We were really impressed with Wildfire’s enthusiasm and approach. The team delivered a number of responses to our initial brief from which came a great solution. We found them really open to ideas and willing to work with us on creating a solution with the perfect look and feel. They always went that extra step to make sure our needs were cared for.”

Forget Simon Cowell… check out Simon Howl…
Wildfire’s cartoon take on XFactor, a series of three animated videos promoting animal health went live this week on You Tube.
Produced in partnership with creative digital tigers Thought Den, the viral videos were commissioned by animal welfare organisation NOAH to highlight key pet healthcare messages and raise awareness of its Pet Health Information website among animal lovers.
The new viral video campaign is NOAH’s first venture into social media and we’re chuffed to have hand held them through the online adventure.
The video trades on the current craze for TV talent shows by showing various pet characters auditioning in front of a tough panel of talent scouts, including the handsome canine chair of the panel, Simon Howl. Each pet in the series of three auditions is, however, hampered in its performance by a common healthcare issue. The video ends with a call to action giving viewers the chance to “pledge to treat their pet like a star” with a downloadable certificate that they can personalise, print and frame.
Wildfire is also assisting with the seeding and viral marketing of the campaign.
Our thanks to Ben at TD and illustrator Robin Davey for top creatives.

Britvic showcase

Wildfire’s video student drinks promotion for Britvic is now slipping down a treat with university catering managers across the UK.
Launched this month as part of Britvic’s reward and purchase promotion, the 10 minute video was set up and shot by the Wildfire crew on campus with a view to showcasing the drink brands’ 5 key products for the student market [J20 PET, Juicy Drench, Drench Water, Gatorade and V Water].
The ‘student thirst quench’ promo shows the products in situ in universities along with a brief description of the drinks’ main features and the special offers running to July.
Aided by several cases of go-faster Gatorade energy drink, our digital team managed to turn around the filming and editing in under a week for use on the uni catering trade site tuco.org, a feat which went down as well with the clients as the drinks did with the catering managers.
Wildfire also designed and produced print advertising and an online banner to support the promotion as well as supplying the video on CDs for the client.
At the risk of bigging ourselves unashamedly, we thought we’d just highlight the feedback from Murdo MacLeod, National Development Manager at Britvic: “Thanks for the great coverage of experiential activity - I have been very pleased with the service and professionalism. The staff on location were energetic and passionate about meeting the needs of the activity brief which has been reflected in the follow up editorial feature. I look forward to continuing to work closely with Wildfire throughout this year and beyond.”
We’ll drink to that!
Directories

The Imagine directory is compiled, redesigned and back from the printers. Respect to Martin and Becky who somehow managed to turn a menacing mountain of particularly raw data into a supremely useful directory that is also a thing of beauty. The focus is now on the UB and UC directories, both of which should be back with us by the end of the month.

A busy week as usual here at Wildfire. After six successful hard copy issues we’ve moved Pro Sport Business to the all digital platform of www.prosportbusiness.com. We’ll be focussing on sport specific mailshots and more community news. We reckon the features and interviews are quite unique online in terms of analysis and access.
